We are now accepting new natural-first family practice appointments with Ms. Laurie Ward, PA-C under Dr. David Calderwood, MD here in Birmingham, Alabama. This will provide a great option for those in the Birmingham area looking for integrative doctors, naturopaths, holistic doctors, or etc.

About Ms. Ward, PA-C:

Ms. Ward was born and raised in Alabama, and moved to the Birmingham area in 1997. She is a graduate of the UAB class of 2002, with an undergraduate in Biology and a minor in chemistry. She then graduated in the top 5% of the 2008 UAB Surgical physician assistant master's program.

She has also pursued independent studies in holistic and functional medicine, and strongly supports a natural- first approach to healthcare.

Specializing in internal medicine and primary care, she has over 14 years of experience and is looking forward to serving patients age 2 and up.

  • Initial Appointment: $250

  • Follow Up: $110

  • Cancellation fee with less than 24 hour notice: $65

• Insurance

  • Insurance is not accepted. However, should labs be needed, they are covered by most insurances.
